WHO WE ARE
The person you talk to on the first call is the same person writing the code.
We keep the team small on purpose. When you hire us, you're talking directly to the people writing the code. That means fewer meetings, shorter feedback loops, and a clearer understanding of what you actually need.
AuraByt was incorporated in Ontario in 2023. We work with small and owner-operated businesses across the GTA — restaurants, tiffin services, trades, clinics, and early-stage founders — and we run a few internal products of our own.
Most of our work falls into three buckets: marketing sites and internal tools built on Astro, SaaS products and booking platforms built on Next.js and Supabase, and the occasional local AI deployment for clients who can't send data to third-party APIs.
We prefer boring, well-understood tools. Postgres over anything exotic. Stripe for payments. Vercel or Netlify for hosting. Our goal is software you can still maintain in three years, not whatever was trending this quarter.

Do the work
We write code every day. The person quoting your project is the person building it, and the person on the call after launch. No account managers in between.
Own what we build
We also run our own products, which means we understand what happens after launch: the uptime pages, the support tickets, the small performance issues that compound over a year.
Say what things cost
Quotes are itemized. Timelines are realistic. If a scope change affects price, we tell you before the work starts rather than at the invoice.
Work with small teams
Most of our clients are owner-operated: restaurants, tiffin services, trades, clinics, and early-stage founders. We size our process so decisions can be made in a phone call.
OUR JOURNEY
Painter's Crew and tiffin platforms
Shipped Painter's Crew for a GTA painting contractor and took on two tiffin-delivery builds (KhaoKhilao for the GTA, TruBites for India). Production work remained the core of the business.
Internal products
Launched Stattraq, a free earnings calculator for GTA gig drivers, and FairSlice, an expense-splitting app. Started offering local LLM deployments for clients in regulated industries.
First clients
Started taking on paid client work across the GTA. Settled on the tooling we still use today: Next.js, Astro, Supabase, Postgres, Vercel.
Incorporated
AuraByt was incorporated in Ontario as a small development studio focused on websites and web apps for local businesses.
